Private: New Writer for Brief History of HIV/AIDS
FAM has engaged writer and veteran healthcare communications executive Michael Broder to write a brief history of HIV/AIDS in connection with the audio presentation FAM is developing for STORIES: The AIDS Monument.
Michael’s resume is certainly impressive: He is the former communications director for the College of Health & Social Sciences at San Francisco State University. He was the longtime executive director for Marketing & Communications at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health, and is the former communications director of the Harvard AIDS Institute.
He is a frequent contributor to TheBody.com and wrote an article last year for Positively Aware to mark the 40th anniversary of the CDC’s first report about the disease that would later become known as AIDS.
