2021 Groundbreaking for STORIES: The AIDS Monument
FAM was proud to commemorate, on June 5, 2021, the 40th anniversary of the CDC’s first report related to AIDS, and to celebrate the ceremonial groundbreaking for STORIES: The AIDS Monument in West Hollywood Park. Some of our major donors were able to attend this private, limited-capacity event.
Our illustrious group of speakers included Congresswoman Maxine Waters, Sharon Stone, George Takei, Dr. Michael Gottlieb, Jeanne White-Ginder (Ryan White’s mother) and Marianne Williamson.
For those of you who were not able to attend the June 5 event, we wanted to give you the chance to watch the entire event or to explore individual speeches from our esteemed group of speakers.
