Dr. Christina Tangalakis is a higher education administrator, and financial aid professional; she currently serves as the associate dean of financial aid at Glendale College. She also sits on the FAM Executive Committee. Her professional interests include underrepresented student access and success, critical theory, post-colonial and different voice scholarship, and social justice. She recently completed her doctoral dissertation on the immigrant experience in Los Angeles for the undocumented, collegegoing population. She is a native Angelino and spends her free time empty-nesting with her partner, Ellen.
