The Foundation for the AIDS Monument is comprised of volunteer Board members who share a passion for ensuring that the history of the AIDS epidemic, both locally and nationally, is chronicled and preserved for younger generations.
Sherri Lewis
Sherri Lewis has been an AIDS Activist since 1987 after testing HIV positive. A former top 40 recording artist in 1981, she continues to use her talents for fundraising, educating and entertaining. She writes for The Body, Arts & Understanding magazine and POZ magazine. She created the UCLA AIDS Ambassadors program, which continues today.
